Carers

Are you a carer?

A carer is not a professional care worker or a personal assistant who gets paid for the work. Carers are unpaid and can be of all ages and come from all parts of society. They may look after more than one person. They may not live with the person they care for.

Are you looking after a relative, a friend, a spouse or a parent? If you care for  someone, we would encourage you to inform your GP and contact the Berkshire carers service, who will ensure that you recieve all the help and support you are entitled to.

Carer support is provided by Reading and West Berkshire Carers hub.

Tel: 0118 324 7333

e mail: ask@berkshirecarershub.org

Gym membership (Only Newbury at present)
